William Laviano was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1977. In 1986 he moved to Florence, Italy with his mother and spent the next nine years living and growing up in a bi-cultural environment. After graduating from the American International School of Florence, William returned to the United States in 1995. He entered the photography department of the State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001. William went on to work in photo labs and film production while continuing to develop his photographic vision.
William currently lives in Montclair, NJ.
